Vice President of Product Management

Direct Hire position
Salary/Rate: $120k - $140k

This position will be leading an organization of over 60 strategists, product managers, product owners, product marketing managers and others who chart our product and services strategy and who drive execution of that strategy

  • Creating and maintaining the product vision for our entire product suite

  • Defining the product strategy including build, buy and partner decisions

  • Developing and executing product & business growth strategies for all products, including learning platforms, assessments and analytics Creating internal and public-facing roadmaps to serve our geographies, segments, markets and client types

  • Leading the development of new products from idea to offering including product pilots

  • Commercializing and launching new products by partnering with Marketing, Support and Sales

  • Establishing goals and managing to product scorecards and product line reviews – communicating progress across internal and external stakeholder groups

  • Developing a deep understanding of the business drivers for our markets – profitability, pricing, services mix, sales channels, etc.

  • Participating in due diligence for acquisitions and executing relevant components of acquisition integration

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM. After hours and weekends occasionally.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product management and/or strategy role required

  • 5+ years of experience with Software development processes (SCRUM and Agile)
    required

  • 2+ years of experience directly managing product managers and/or product owners
    required

  • 3 + years of experience planning and building analytics solutions preferred

  • Experience with Pragmatic Marketing preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary technologies and their applicability to
    solve healthcare business problems

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and proven
    ability to run effective meetings: comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization

  • Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through

Director of Planning, Design, and Construction

Job Description
Under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management, the Director of Planning, Design and Construction is responsible for the management of capital construction projects, including programming, design, construction management and contract administration. The Director is responsible for successful execution of the University’s Capital Plan. 

  • Conducting needs assessments, project feasibility studies, programming, master planning, initial cost estimates, and project justification statements

  • Principle liaison for assigned projects assembling all review comments, monitoring compliance and reviewing signed changed orders

  • May also inspect buildings for renovation, repair, and code compliance needs

  • Conduct research into new systems and design/construction techniques

  • Establishes budgets and payments, construction quality and schedules

  • 5+ years of progressive management skills and abilities in the field of design and capital construction, from programming through project closeout, preferably within an institution of higher education.

This position will support the university’s initiative to care and management for all vertebrae
research animals. The position is responsible for:
• Cleaning and sanitation of cages
• Handling and restraint of animals

• Facility maintenance

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime and weekends occasionally

• High school diploma or equivalent

Primary Duties

The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) is largely responsible for providing operational and development support services for our SQL Server database environments. Primary responsibilities of this role include owning, tracking, and resolving database related incidents and requests, performance tuning, backups, patching, remediation of security vulnerabilities. This role also requires a service oriented mentality, a high sense of ownership of the problems and requests assigned, a focus on managing and resolving issues, as well as initiating and performing changes on production systems.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a production environment DBA 
Experience with SQL Server 2014 or later in a Windows environment. 
In depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases, including experience working with transactional replication, performance tuning and optimization. 
Experience with database backup and restore, disaster recovery and security. 
Advanced knowledge of the SQL Server Engine for performance tuning and optimization, INNER OUTER/JOINS, CROSS/OUTER APPLIES, UNIONS etc. 
Ability to optimize complex queries to achieve sub-millisecond performance gains through query benchmarking 
Expert knowledge of database design concepts, stored procedures, triggers, views and SSIS/SSRS packages 
Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting database performance issues.  Ability to install and configure new server instances and upgrade existing ones. 
Ensure all database servers are backed up in a way that meets the business's Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) 
Test backups to ensure we can meet the business' Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)  Manage DDL scripts for multiple environments DEV/UAT/PROD 
General ability to support and optimize advanced and complex queries

•Being the local IT point of contact for the business
